While as an author, you are the creator of a manuscript, but there are a host of other things to do to make your book reader-ready. For example, an author who only has the manuscript ready would need services such as cover artwork, typesetting, professional editing, eBook development, printing, promotion, and Distribution to sell his / her eBook & print version successfully. If you opt for AKN Learning, you only have to pay for the services you choose to take.

You may use our Royalty Calculator to ascertain how much royalty you will earn on the successful sale of a printed version of your book in India. Once you choose to publish with us, we will be able to share a detailed royalty calculation analysis with you.

Depending upon the package or services selected by you, published copies of your work should be available within 30 – 60 days of placing the order.

You will own 100 per cent rights to your work. Registrar of India, Copyright Registration Department, can also issue a copyright certificate if you choose to purchase Copyrights service from us.

At AKN Learning, we follow a Print-On-Demand model where we print the copies of your book in-line with the real-time customer demand. You don’t have to pay in advance for printing as these charges will only be debited after a sale is complete. Besides, you’ll also get a fixed number of free copies, based on the service package you select.

The selling of a book depends solely on the content’s quality and effective promotion.

Authors have full jurisdiction in selecting the pricing of their book. However, there’ll be a few things to consider before you decide the retail cost of your work:

• Your niche audience and their expending power
• Costs involved in printing, promotion, and distribution
• Price of other books that fall in the same genre or category as yours

Our project managers compare the cost of other books of the same genre with the tentative price of your book in order to help you arrive at a perfect MRP. This will help to price your book competitively before launching it in the commercial market.

Marketing means generating awareness, exposure, and advertising for your book, and Distribution means making your books accessible for your readers to buy on popular eBook and Print book selling platforms.

We will share Print Ready Files of your work prior to printing your book. The files will only be submitted for printing after your acceptance and authorisation. That way, we can prevent inconsistencies and publish the book exactly the way you want it to be.
