So, you have already worked tirelessly on the manuscript and now wondering how to publish a book in India? Before you release it to the world, you need to make sure that it’s ready to be sold, and adequately set up for success. With a profound understanding of the world of customised publishing, and having produced numerous flawless manuscript pages for authors and researchers PAN India, the AKN Learning team can work with you at each point to ensure an immaculate and well-coordinated publishing experience.

Once you have finished your manuscript, you’ll be required to adhere to the Submission Guidelines listed as under

Research Publishing: Mail a short description (one or two pages synopsis of your manuscript) and the first 3 chapters of your manuscript along with the bio of the writer in the third person (including your contact details, i.e. your contact number and e-mail) to support@aknlearning.com.

Novel Publishing: Mail a short description (one or two pages synopsis of your manuscript) and the first 3 chapters of your manuscript along with the bio of the writer in the third person (including your contact details, i.e. your contact number and e-mail) to support@aknlearning.com.

Poetry Publishing: Mail Any 3 Poems to support@aknlearning.com along with the Poet’s bio in the third person (including your contact details, i.e. your contact number and e-mail).

Academic Publishing: Mail a short description (one or two pages synopsis of your manuscript) and the first 3 chapters of your manuscript along with the bio of the writer in the third person (including your contact details, i.e. your contact number and e-mail) to support@aknlearning.com.

Trade Publishing: Mail a short description (one or two pages synopsis of your manuscript) and the first 3 chapters of your manuscript along with the bio of the writer in the third person (including your contact details, i.e. your contact number and e-mail) to support@aknlearning.com.

Once we have received your mail, it will be reviewed by our in-house team and you’ll be informed about our decision within 72 hours after the manuscript submission.

If your script is selected, we will share our publication, distribution and promotional package details with you; you may go through the details and then confirm your selection in writing over the e-mail. We will provide you with our banking details thereafter for payment and share the receipt once the transaction is successful from your end. The publication process will begin right after that.

You might question why editing is required in the first place?

Every writer may not be grammatically accurate while narrating in the language they have elected to draft the script. A market-ready manuscript must be error-free to maintain the required level of flow and coherence to keep the readers engaged.

At AKN Learning, we have a team of experienced editors qualified from the best Institutes of the country who can minutely scrutinize every work, look for errors and make necessary corrections.

The editing process can usually take anywhere between 4-8 weeks, depending on the editing level required in the manuscript.

Once the manuscript is finalized, the next step is Typesetting & Cover Designing.

We ensure that you get a wonderful and relatable book cover for your manuscript, devised by our experienced cover designers after which your book is sent for professional formatting so that it is printed in an orderly manner.

The whole process might take anywhere between 1-2 weeks, depending upon the level of work required.

Generally, the printing process can take 1-2 weeks, based on the number of copies to be published.

Once we obtain the hard copies, we list your book on various popular online portals for selling purpose.

We disburse royalties on a quarterly basis. The quarterly sales summary is directly mailed to your inbox, and the relevant amount accumulated against it is directly credited to your Bank account within the first week of the subsequent quarter.

Please Take Note— A Non-Exclusive Agreement will be signed between you and us before the commencement of the publication process. This Agreement ensures that you preserve all the rights to your book, while we retain the publishing rights only.
